Pădurea Craiului is home to some of the most famous and beautiful caves in Romania, including the Wind Cave – the longest cave in Romania, the Meziadulu and Unguru Mare caves – with their histories that go back to prehistory, the Vadu Crișului Cave – the first cave designed for tourism in our country or the Crystal Cave from Mina Farcu – the only tourist cave where you can see calcite crystals.

In addition to these, there are hundreds of other larger or smaller caves, some of them breathtakingly beautiful. Several of these can be explored on guided tours where you will test your speology skills and your ability to deal with challenging situations.
